Dark Stares are a British alternative rock band from St Albans, United Kingdom. Their self-released, September 2012 debut EP ‘Tell Your Friends’ drew plaudits across many platforms, alongside their first music video for the song ‘Whisky’, which caught the attention of fans, press and artists alike.

An opening slot with Enter Shikari at The Forum in Hertfordshire is amongst their live highlights to date, as well as performing as the sole support to The Darkness for their intimate comeback show at the prestigious 100 Club on Oxford Street.

After a summer of local and national festivals, where they shared main-stages with the likes of Fun Lovin’ Criminals and The Subways, 2012 delivered XFM airplay with the Rock Show and a growing international presence. 2013 has ushered in an increasingly heavy sound, with singles ‘Bad Machine’ and ‘Shinigami’ going viral and their psychedelic music videos foreshadowing the release of ‘Octopon’, the highly anticipated second official release from the band.
